The new rumor sprung up after an anonymous source spoke with All Things D and claimed that everything we've heard about an iPhone-5 launch in September, is actually wrong. The launch happened in October, says this source. He or she has no idea what all was that the September noise.
Well, we know what was the September-noise - AT & T (T). For some reason, leaked internal memos from AT & T suggested that the company moved employees in a given week in September, the company seemed to suggest that something a lot of staff should: namely, a big product launch. And what is the biggest product launch right around the same time? Why, the next iPhone, of course.
But apparently that's just not the case, according to sources.Here is a quote from All Things D:
"Sources with knowledge of the situation, say reports that AT & T has blackened staff leave during the last two weeks in September in preparation for the retail debut of the next iPhone are misinformed.
"I do not know why AT & T's request that all hands on deck this week, but it is not to run for an iPhone," said a source familiar with Apple's plans. "
Meanwhile, new photos appeared on Gizmodo that a fair sight better than the spread of the Internet the other day that were reportedly from a distance on a train near San Francisco to see caught.
