The new rumor sprung up after an anonymous source spoke with All Things D and claimed that everything we've heard about an iPhone-5 launch in September, is actually wrong. The launch happened in October, says this source. He or she has no idea what all was that the September noise.
Well, we know what was the September-noise - AT & T (T). For some reason, leaked internal memos from AT & T suggested that the company moved employees in a given week in September, the company seemed to suggest that something a lot of staff should: namely, a big product launch. And what is the biggest product launch right around the same time? Why, the next iPhone, of course.
